WTF Was That?!: A Real Snake With A Fake Spider For A Tail It Uses To Attract Prey

February 13, 2015

Warning: Spider eats bird at the end so if you're not into the circle of life you might not want to watch the video.

This is a video about the spider-tailed horned viper, a species of venomous snake native to western Iran that has a spider-like appendage at the end of its tail that it wiggles around to attract prey. Obviously, Mother Nature should be fined and/or jailed for even coming up with this. What's the deal -- you're just mixing the scariest animals together now? "Blame evolution." DON'T TRY TO SCIENCE ME -- YOU DID THIS.

Keep going for a couple videos.

Thanks to Jan, whose worst nightmares are officially reality.
