Such Penmanship: The Man Responsible For All The Calligraphy In Lord Of The Rings And The Hobbit

This is some of the work by A+ handwriter Daniel Reeve, who is responsible for all the calligraphy seen in The Hobbit and Lord of the Rings films. Such hand-eye coordination. My writing looks like chicken-scratch. Just kidding, my writing looks like a computer print-out because I type everything, who even writes with pens and pencils anymore -- what is this, the 90's? Seriously though, page me later.

Keep going for a bunch more examples of his penmanship.

Thanks to LInc, who only writes in wing-dings.

  • Captain Matticus, LP Inc.

Who is this quick brown fox and why is he jumping over the lazy dog so much?

  • Fred

    Because orcs are after him.

  • Wonfis

These calligraphers are obsessed with them!

  • xolifer

Yes, but how well can he write in blood?... his own blood, while it is drained out of him by woodland creatures. Woah. I mean. Looks good man. Forgot to take my pills.

  • hmmmm

    I really did laugh.
    thanks
