Hyundai Veloster Gets A Custom Boba Fett Vehicle Wrap

December 18, 2014

This is artist Rebekah Stieg Knuth's custom Boba Fett wrapped Hyundai Veloster. That way she can tell her Veloster from all the other Velosters in the mall parking lot. You know how I locate my car in a crowded parking lot? Look for the nicest car I can find, then hot-wire it. Joyride! I'm writing this from jail by the way. Apparently, "Grand Theft Auto made me do it, I'm the real victim here," doesn't hold up in court as well as you might think.

Keep going for several more shots and a time-lapse of the wrap being applied in case you weren't sure how they do that.

Thanks to Tammy, who once had her car wrapped in Saran plastic wrap and shaving cream. Okay now you just need new friends.

  • That's really impressive. The front bumper of the Veloster looks like a nightmare to wrap. How did the installers get inside the those ridges under the headlight?

  • This Hyundai Veloster Boba Fett car wrap is awesome! Was there any trademark restrictions from Star Wars of Disney? Thanks for showing a video of the wrap from start to finish!

  • Andrew Nyberg

Just curious. I realize the back says "No Good To Me Dead," but what language is that? Its not Mandalorian.

  • Pretty cool wrap. The folks from recently wrapped a Hyundai for SEMA, it came out pretty good

  • Conrad PapaMouse Miles

How difficult would it be to transpose that onto different makes of cars? If love to do that to my Volkswagon Tiguan!!

  • David Gabel

Now it just needs better wheels that fit with the design. Maybe something in flat black or maybe a rust color?

  • Joshua Knuth

We are modding the stock wheels. we had to put snow tires on anyway so we are working on the new rims in the winter.

  • David Gabel

Can't wait to see how it looks with the finished wheels, as I was hoping they were the next step.

  • Bling Nye

The script on the back says, "No good to me dead," except I think a couple symbols might be backwards, but I'm not sure. Either way, that's pretty cool, and I'm a little jelly.

  • Joshua Knuth

Glad you like it! We had that pointed out too. The font we used was messed up somehow and we didnt notice it until it was on there. She cut new letters and will put them on when it gets warmer.
    Also modified the wheels now.
Hoping to take it to the Star Wars Celebration in Cali this april.

Why yes, I AM smarter than you. Don't be jelly.

  • DeathBotGamma

    Nice translation.

  • MustacheHam

    That's a rad and tasteful design. :D

  • Kevin
