Dad Disguises Himself As Spider-Man To Surprise Cancer-Battling Son On 5th Birthday

November 19, 2014

This is is a video of father Mike Wilson dressed as Spider-Man surprising his son Jayden on his fifth birthday. Sadly (and because life isn't fair in the least), Jayden was diagnosed with a Grade 4 Brain Stem Tumor and given about a year to live. *shaking fist at God* JUST ADMIT IT -- YOUR PLAN MAKES NO SENSE. You can visit Jayden's Facebook support page HERE. Best wishes, little guy.

Keep going for the video.

Thanks to natalie, SA, Tom's Diner (I love that song) and affo, who are all loving, caring individuals.

Deep down Jayden knew it was his dad wearing a costume. Maybe it was the convenient timing of his arrival or the identical costume his dad was wearing that time he walked into mum and dads room without knocking and immediately regretted. Better to pretend spiderman rodgered his mum after attaching her to the ceiling with his web than to admit the horrifying truth about his parents sex life. Jayden's a real soldier if only for the pity hug he gives dad for the effort.

Better than Amazing Spider Man 1 & 2.

Nice touch jumping down from the roof - and good job with the spread fingers on the ground.

    As Spider-Man???

  • I recently read an article about some electric helmet which can help fight aggressive brain tumors. Hope it's available for this little hero's battle with Cancer.

Side note: Love his take on an American dialect.
