4 Min 57.69 Sec: New Super Mario Bros Speed Run Record

July 1, 2014

This is a video of the new Super Mario Bros speed run record set by speed-runner Blubbler (which doesn't sound like a very speedy name). It takes him all of 4-minutes and 57.69-seconds to run from the moment the timer appears until hitting the axe behind Bowser in world 8-4. That's pretty fast. Could you imagine beating the game that quick when you first played it as a kid? "Congratulations son, but your mom and I aren't getting you another game until Christmas. Maybe next time you'll think about that before speed-running your ass through the last one."

Keep going for the video.

Thanks to LUKE, who likes to take his time and enjoy video games. Sometime to the point the timer runs out and he dies. Okay now surely there's a happy medium.
