No Touchscreen?!: Children Reacting To Old Computers

May 27, 2014

This is the latest video from The Fine Bros featuring today's children reacting to yesterday's technology. In this case, a late 70's computer. They are not impressed. Now I feel old. "How old?" Old enough to call the nearest assisted living facility and ask to see their cafeteria menu. Fish sticks and cinnamon rolls on Friday -- I think I might check myself in. Sadly, I have been finding it difficult to control my bladder at night. "You get wasted and forget to pee before bed." I feel like a healthy body should be able to handle that.

Keep going for the video.

Thanks to nik and Arman, who agree technology is cyclical and it's only a matter of time before we go back bulky desktop computers and CRT monitors. Heck yeah, I want ZERO free space on my desk.

"At least it's better than Flappy Bird"

  • We can all testify to this honestly, tech evolves - so what, all this show is that the parents of these kids spent zero time teaching them about the world WITHOUT tech. Books, old movies, stories and having a library card are all still very relevant? They could have shown you elderly people using a cell phone or tablet for the opposite effect lol

Give them Oregon Trail and they'll never have anything bad to say about these again.

Was interesting for the first minute - NOT for 7 minutes!

  • Lets See Them react to a typewriter and Thema powerglove!

  • Emmitt Morgans

    What is the "Thema powerglove?"

Is that a ripoff of the original Nintendo Power Glove? I've never heard of the Thema brand. Google isn't helping me, either.

  • Sorry, autocorrect mistake- its suppossed to be "the"

The only thing I found interesting was how fucking stupid parents name their children. Brooke-Monaé? Krischelle? Jayka? Dash? Kayce? What the hell is wrong with people?

    You're an idiot.

Thank you for such an insightful and germane rebuttal. I always have such great respect for those who go on the Internet and make personal attacks on a website that, in it of itself, is primarily satire. For your next trick, are you going to threaten to find me in real life and beat me up? Also, good job on voting up your own comment to try and gain visibility. You are truly a vital contribution to this discussion. Have a great day, Lord Chino.

All names sound strange the first time you hear them. You telling me people loved the name Blanche the first time they heard it?
