A Ton Of Superhero/Movie/Video Game Themed Workouts

April 4, 2014

This is a huge series (there's almost 30 more after the jump) of superhero, television, movie and video game inspired workouts designed by fitness blogger Neila Rey. There's something for everyone, she's got Game of Thrones, Avengers, Minecraft, Assassin's Creed, Aquaman, Wolverine, Blade Runner, James Bond, Skyrim, Hunger Games -- you name it. Now there's no excuse not to work out! Except you're lazy and unmotivated. That's pretty much all it takes. Pass the chips.

Keep going for a ton more.

Thanks to BBQ, who always sounds like a great idea. Or a picnic!

  • Ligon

    Do a Captain America one.

  • flyingmonkey456

I feel like the Lannister workout needs some one handed push-ups.

  • Every legend has a begining

  • Munihausen

Yeah...Ms. Rey is going to be getting a stack of cease and desist letters. There was even a question directly concerning this on Avvo. Trademark infringement ftw.

  • asdfadfs

not a thing that yoda had luke do is on there

  • iofo61

True to form, no one cares about the Aquaman workout.

  • What the...?
    I don't get it.

  • The Boogie Nights workout (just a bunch of dick flexes).

All the workouts seem kinda arbitrary - just random exercises with a movie logo.

  • The Magnificent Newtboy

I have to admit I couldn't see any links between them, although the minecraft one does involve lots of boxes...

  • Maybe it gives you pixelated abs.

  • I'm very lost. What the actual hell is going on here?

  • Oh wait I get it... flutterkicks make you a better gamer OR an Avenger. Your choice. And Arrow push ups are called "failure push ups". Actually that one makes sense.

  • Jeffrey Berthiaume

I think failure == do them until you can't do any more... The Arrow one definitely seems in line with the show.

  • Jason Rogers

random workout regimen with random pop culture reference. neither have anything to do with each other. BOOM!!! Viral!

  • I think the point of this is, to get nerds off their World of Warcrafts. It's a work out program that you can do in any order to keep the routine from getting TOO stagnant, and none of the exercises require equipment. Not to mention it's completely free.

I'm all for anything that involves making fat people not fat.

  • disqus_k2QxOV9H7Z

We need a pop culture dance game.

  • Pedro

I find the lack of handstand pushups on the Jedi workout disturbing.

  • Cnguyen

I read this in Darth Vaders voice
