Legend Of Zelda Played In First Person With Oculus Rift

February 24, 2014

This is a video demo of The Legend of Zelda being played as a first person stabber with an Oculus Rift. It's definitely not the cleanest migration to a 3-D environment that's possible, but it's only in beta and I get the feeling they just threw it together to see what it would look like. And that's enough to realize it looks PROMISING. My career as an exotic dancer? Not so promising (I've been known to poop a little during lap-dances).

Hit the jump for the video, but be warned you might get a little motion-sick. At least I did (or I'm pregnant). Beta version of the game available for download HERE.

Thanks to PYY, who agrees anybody who has the chance to virtually visit Hyrule and chooses not to is clearly mentally ill.

Tsk, they should have kept the dual-screen so I can do the cross-eye 3D thing.

God I hate people who don't know how to level audio. I almost died through the intro and now I can hardly hear what the hell the guy is saying.

  • Forblat

They found the one person who hasn't played Zelda before.

Stay tuned for the inevitable sexulization of Occulus rift, and not that pussy anime hand job shit I saw on here a few weeks ago.
No sir, I mean the real deal. If I ain't tasting shit when I'm tossing a salad on this 3-d head set; I'm gonna be pissed.
