How To: Carve A Box Of Money Out Of A Block Of Wood

January 17, 2014

Note: Larger version HERE in case you want to print it out and make out with it like you do all those Jennifer Lawrence pictures you find online.

This is a pictorial of the process that New York sculptor Randall Rosenthal uses to carve a box of money out of a block of wood. Who knew, apparently money really does grow on trees. Get it? Well I don't, my cat just told me to say it. Also, "Clean the litterbox or I'll use the kitchen counter again." He means it too, I can't even make a sandwich without thinking I found turds here once.

Thanks to ABACAR, who wishes making money were this easy. Easy?! This looks impossible.

Really beautiful work, no one will believe if we said this a wooden Box craving. Am really wondered about this sculpture.

Great job not mentioning the Reddit post this came from two days ago as usual. Extra great you linked to the actual imgur gallery from the post. Jeeze GW.

This is as fake as all those "photo-realistic paintings." After the fourth picture, it's all paper and cardboard. Source: just look at it, people.

    iIt Might be ..

I call bullshit. There is no way he could have painted under the flap.

  • DrZanz

"There's no way..." You paint models a lot then?
I call bullshit on ice skating, because fuck knows I've tried!

  • exquisite_dead_guy

I am an artist. Yes, I do paint. All of his projects are faked. It's very obvious. Notice that he never shows any partially painted bills.

  • i am wondering about that too. is it even possible?

  • MustacheHam

    This is amazing.
I do wonder if he can also sculpt a chocolate cake out of wood?

  • The Magnificent Newtboy

Beautiful work, what a sweet idea! Also, it would be hilarious to leave it in an alley way full of cameras and watch people's minds be blown by trying to steal it...

  • Christoffer Jeppesen

People's "minds being blown" would look like this:
    Walks over to box.
    Realizes it's wood.
    Walks away.

  • disqus_k2QxOV9H7Z

    Walks over box.
    Realizes it's wood.
    Takes cool sculpture home.
