Drone-Shot Video Of The World's Tallest Water Slide

January 27, 2014

I meant to post this earlier but I'm stupid and forgetful. "No kidding, you also forgot ugly." You sure know how to make a guy feel special. This is a drone-shot video of the 17-story Verrückt water slide set to open at the Schlitterbahn (literally, Shitbottom) waterpark in Kansas City this May. It's ridden four people at a time in a raft. The wait in line while climbing those seventeen stories ('Wow, I can see a ton of dirt from here!') must be exhilarating. Like the first time you ever climbed the ladder to a high dive. OMG OMG OMG, if I climb down will all the girls make fun of me? Just do it, you can do this. Just do a pencil, just do a pencil, just -- "HE'S PEEING!" *hysterical laughter* I haven't been to a pool in 22 years.

Keep going for the video, then let's all go this summer and ride it (I get to be in the back though).

Thanks to Kevatron and ADD, who agree somebody should try to ride it solo with no water just to see what would happen (SPOILER: certain death).

My friends are already planning on going this summer(only live 40 minutes away) and I'm going to tape their deaths. No way am I going on that thing

  • Shawn Bibby

That looks AMAZING, and those stairs might discourage some, which is also AWESOME.

  • HackTheGibson

What is the black slide next to it?

  • Johnny

to send the rafts back up to the top.

  • lordpikachu

    real men dont do rafts

  • Jfdelman

    Yep, someone will die.

  • grimbldoo

How long before someone flies off the incline or rolls off the side and the park has to shut the ride down?

  • Frédéric Purenne

Why is it built next to nothing?

  • HackTheGibson

Looks like it is still under construction. Sure more will come later.

  • iofo61

How much bleach does it take to disinfect e-coli from a waterslide pool?

  • MustacheHam

    It's like Happy Wheels IRL!
