Universal Orlando Building A 'Cabin In The Woods' Attraction (Including Cabin!) For Halloween Horror Nights

July 2, 2013

Universal Orlando has announced they're building a 'Cabin In The Woods' themed attraction for its annual Halloween Horror Nights. I think you should take me. Then buy me a cotton candy afterwards and pet my head and tell me it was all fake so I'll stop crying.

We are building the cabin completely. You're going to walk through a forest to get there. You're going into the cabin. You're going to go into the cube cells. We're literally taking everything we can in the film and giving you a kind of best-of montage of the film with this kind of linking story. You're going to be in the control room when merman attacks.

Sounds fun right? I'm going to make you go first then stand behind you and grab your shoulders every once in a while and scream 'OH MY GOD WE'RE GONNA DIE!' to scare you. I do the same thing when I have to ride in the backseat of a car because somebody else called shotgun. The best is right when they fall asleep.

Thanks to WEP and allyson, who thought the movie was a rom-com because they both fell in love with Merman. Hoho, burn! I didn't mean that.

Really seems they are going all out lately for some really fun Halloween times. Lots of places have really been stepping up their game in regards to this holiday. Last year we had such an amazing time finding the scariest haunted attraction in DE. It made it the most memorable Halloween yet

I may def be interested in any employee perks you might be able to rustle up. We go to HHN each year and really dig it.

What about the sex scene in the forest? Will that be featured as well?

Universal Studios is on a roll! First Springfield, then R:E, Silent Hill and Walking Dead themed events, and now Cabin in the Woods? They deserve a gold star!
