Cozy Boulder Chair Turns Into Stools For Guests

July 11, 2013

This is the Quarts Armchair (really? Then where the f*** are the arms?) designed by CTRL ZAK and Davide Barzaghi. It costs $14,000 and resembles the Aggro Crag from Nickelodeon's 'Guts'. No? Well what about Superman's Fortress of Solitude? MOVING ON. Each boulder fits into one of the holes of the wood lattice like that learning toy from when you were a kid and always tried to force the square piece into the round hole. Fun! When guests arrive each rock can be removed and used as a stand-alone stool. I mean, cool, but since when did I start caring about the comfort of my guests? I only look out for NUMERO ONE. Just ask my roommate. "He pisses his own bed then comes to steal my comforter." Okaaaaaaay, not really the example I was looking for but it works.

Thanks to Suzanne S., who agrees the most comfortable chairs aren't chairs at all, they're beds.

Because only having one "Armchair" in your living room and making your guests sit on stools is the latest, greatest thing...

And is a huge pain in the dick to put back together.

  • "Oh crap, where are my keys?!"

  • This is goddamn rad. $13850-ish too much. But rad nonetheless.

All of the cool artsy furniture is unfortunately priced at way more than almost anyone would want to pay... :C
