Aha!: Filing Cabinet Caught Eating Freshly Printed Paper

May 1, 2013

This is a video of a computer printer and filing cabinet located in some university's music department. I know, that was arguably the most exciting video intro I've ever written. This particular printer and filing cabinet though -- they share a very special relationship. You see, every time the printer prints a page of sheet music, the filing cabinet eats it. To put this all in scientific terms that make me sound smarter than I really am, the two share a symbiotic relationship. The printer feeds the filing cabinet, and in return the filing cabinet provides the printer with a safe place to live high above the ground where it would be vulnerable to attack by rolling office chairs and people's feet. BOOM -- put that in your biology book next to a diagram of some flower's penis.

Hit the jump for the video, but skip to 0:30 for the cabinet's first meal.

Thanks to Rach, who was convinced her filing cabinet was eating printer paper but it turns out her cats were just stealing it and shredding it outside like the little jerks that they are.
