Sure, But What About The Bowl?: Edible Spoons

April 23, 2013

Triangle Tree
is releasing spicy, sweet and plain Edible Spoons, a line of dog treat looking spoons that can be eaten after your meal, preventing the earth-unfriendly disposal of plastic spoons like I just don't put them in the dishwasher and reuse them. Haha, what do you mean you're not supposed to do that? I dunno, the spicy one might be okay with Indian or Thai but I'm having a hard time imagining the sweet or plain ones complimenting my Penis Shaped Sugar Bombs in the morning. PROTIP: things that aren't edible that are made to be edible generally taste like shit. That said, I'll withhold judgement on these things until my dog actually tries one. Isn't that right, Chloe? Man, she loves licking those sandals.

Hit the jump for a couple more product shots because I made the mistake of editing them to post and don't want to feel like those minutes were a waste.

Thanks to chichi, who agrees the best spoon is the one held by a lover who's feeding you breakfast in bed because they love you and not because you've been in some accident and lost the use of your arms.

I would end up biting/eating the spoon.. because I can't help myself, and I'd end up with nothing to eat my food with :(

  • Bread Bowls dude. Bread Bowls.

  • Guest

I'm cool with this, it cuts down how much dishes I have to clean.

  • Ed

It doesn't even say what they're made of. What you expect me to follow some link and look for it there? no way. That's your job.

  • Richard

Edible Spoons are made of PE-POLE! PEEEEEEEEPPOOOOOOLLLEEEE!

  • Nalyr

Well the bag says its made with corn and it has a huge ear of corn on the side. It might be a red herring though...

  • Anodos

Some people actually fall for that.

  • Brant_Alan

I don't want to eat anything in any of those pictures.
