Massive Full-Back Lord Of The Rings Inspired Tattoo

December 18, 2012

This is some stranger's full-back tattoo based on an old Lord of the Rings poster. I think it's a dude, but there's really no telling from just this one picture. No lie, one time I was looking at this chick's butt but when she turned around it was actually a dude with long hair. That happens a lot. ID'ing a butt can be tricky. Boobs? I'm 2 out of 3 on boobs.

Thanks to Brie, who asked me for advice about a full-back Twilight tattoo. Yeah -- don't get one.

That's not Gandalf... that's Alan Moore.

That is actually almost a perfect copy of the painting. I had all of them at one time. Stretched canvas over wood oil painting covered in thick as hell lacquer. Bought it for $107 and sold it for $1000 many years later before the movies were released or known about.

I had that poster for a many year.

  • ODwanKenObi

That is one homely Hobit. Juust saying...

  • GameOfScones

Wonder if it has the same typo as on the poster?... 'One ring to bing them all'

the next time someone is going to tattoo your back, make sure they're somewhat of an artist before letting them ink you up .....just sayin

  • If you had ever even remotely seen the original art, it looks exactly like this.

So the morale of this story is ..... Shut The Fuck Up. :D

  • Tyler AitchKay

I have that poster in my room, signed by the Jim Cauty too.

I believe this was already posted a year or two ago...

When I was in town once I actually recognised a girl I used to work with from looking at her ass, didn't tell her that though!

  • Shane Anderson

Isn't that the inside cover to the LOTR? I have that as a poster already...

  • Yea I got that poster 2

  • n_a_a_s

I'm guessing the poster looks much better than that

  • Susana Sacoto

I've had that poster for almost 20 years!
