Knob Twisting Pro: Nintendo Themed Etch-A-Sketch Art

October 22, 2012

This is a gallery of Nintendo themed Etch-A-Sketch art all created by the delicate knob-twisting fingers of Jane Labowitch. It's mostly Mario and Pokemon though, so if you don't like the subject material hopefully you can at least appreciate the talent. Whenever I go to Toys 'R Us I always write 'GEEKOLOGIE.COM' on all the Etch-A-Sketches as some free advertising. No, no I don't. I ride around on a kid's bike until security asks me to leave, I refuse, and they tell me they "Don't get paid enough for this shit," and walk away. I do leave all the computers at the Apple store on Geekologie though.

Hit the jump for a bunch more.

Impressive, but am I the only one that thinks the Peach image is totally salacious?

the most impressive waste of time I've seen in awhile

  • That is mighty impressive. I have trouble drawing anything on one of those things.

Calling BS. Totally used a magnet at the end of a pen. I wanna see a time lapse.

  • Nope. You're thinking of a Wooly Willy.

thats not even how they work. the metal powder or what ever it is, is already stuck to the other side of the screen, the bit you move on the inside just scrapes it off leaving the lines behind.

  • FAKE!!!!

This is a complete photoshop job. Yu can tell its a fake because the shadow's are all wrong.

This is exactly like that scene in the movie Never BAck Down where Max and Baja were getting chased up a scaffolding by rush limbaugh, and threw barrells at him to slow his progress.
