CANNOT BE UNSEEN: Bert And Ernie Real-Life Cosplay

September 5, 2012

This is a shot of two dudes spotted cosplaying as Bert and Ernie at Dracon*Con by Redditor ProbableCause. They're f***ing terrifying. Like, definitely not the type of guys you'd feel comfortable watching take a bubble-bath together. Chris Hemsworth and Ryan Gosling? Those two I would pay good money to see in the same tub, AND still be willing to line up outside the night before.

Hit the jump for one more piece of nightmare fuel for the fire.

Thanks to Julien, who agrees some things are best not imagined in real life. Most not-real-life things actually.

  • BriteSkittle

    That's... just... creepy...

  • I guess it's the eyes, but Ernie looks kind of like the 11th Doctor under all that crap.

  • ZomBBombeR

Creepy? yes. Sleep deprivating material? not even close, I've seen way worse IRL.

  • My childhood is now officially fawlked up.

Nothing scares a child (or full grown adult) more than a clown or a realistic cartoon character.

  • Aknit

It's nice to see that Nikki Sixx is finally getting his act together.

I know Sesame Street has been around for decades, but Bert and Ernie look like they're 70 years old.

  • Bakasaia

*"Cannot be unseen"* "Hm, he must have cen- OH GOD WHAT THE FUCK!?!?"

  • Bert's facial expression makes him look like Carl from 'Up'.
