Spreading Disease: Jaffa Cake-Flavored Lickable Wallpaper

April 13, 2012

Wow, hands on the floor AND licking the wall -- this guy is DETERMINED to catch something.

To advertise their product, McVitie's Jaffa Cakes developed and installed lickable wallpaper in a London elevator that tastes like their cakes. That's disgusting. What do you think, Willy Wonka? "I think it's a genius idea -- that's why I invented it DECADES AGO." Ha, such a humble guy that Willy Wonka. A likeable boss, not so much (I heard he once dropkicked an Ooompa Loompa into the Chocolate River for singing off-key).

World's First Lick-able Wall Paper [incrediblethings]

Thanks to PYY, who won't lick wallpaper but will eat off the floor if it's been there less than a day.

  • He thought it was a Glory Hole

Id make it into a book and write on it at school, then when ilm hungry i would eat some of it or lick it.

  • That is the most electrifying cake I've ever seen!

    Next they'll be making snozberry!

    I'm a yognaught.

Heston Blumenthal created lickable, flavored wallpaper for his Willy Wonka themed episode that aired a few years ago. Of course this wasn't a germfest as there were less than ten people licking the wallpaper and they could observe where others had licked and lick a fresh area. Lick, lick, lick that wallpaper!

Cakes. The clue's in the name.

Fuck, we all knew the GW was a dullard but I didn't realise even reading was beyond him.

  • Emmitt Morgans

The Jaffa Cakes taste like Jaffa Cakes!!!

  • Whilst this is very clever I don't want to be licking walls. Any body could have licked it. Any thing could be on it. Eww!

  • Emmitt Morgans

You're right, I'd be all over it!!! ;)

  • Is that a euphemism?

  • Emmitt Morgans

What kind of a disgusting person do you think I am?  I should be offended!

...and yes, it's definitely a euphemism...

  • AdvancePlays

Jaffa cakes are cakes, not biscuits.

  • Emmitt Morgans

    That point is debatable...

    They are, however, NOT "cookies"!

    I'd rather have digestives anyway...

  • No it's not debatable. They are cakes - legally so.
