Ice Cold: Dad Pranks Daughter With Fake Rejection Letter From Magnet School For Cheating At Mario Kart

This is a video of Youtuber olclops pranking his 13-year old daughter with a fake rejection letter to the visual arts magnet high school of her dreams because she cheated at Mario Kart. Well, she didn't just cheat at Mario Kart, she unpaused the game when he was out of the room -- that's actually a step beyond cheating. Then he gives her the real acceptance letter (but did he know it wasn't a rejection letter prior to that?) and the video ends with everybody happy and cheering, just like never happens in real life.

Keep going for the video. Also, congratulations on the acceptance.

Thanks to Stephanie B, who agrees there would have a completely different tone to the video if that second letter had been a rejection too.

Dafuq is going on with her voice?

  • econoking

? She has a naturally deep voice

  • Jetch Vargas

why do they get excited about getting in? in Mexico you only have to pay and do a primary school test to get in. But i have never seen someone excited about

  • Doog

If she had actually been rejected at the end I think this video would have been funnier. But I take a strange kind of joy in the misery of others.

The Germans have a word for that: Schadenfreude.

  • Doog

    That's exactly it

  • shashi

hopefully they'll teach her to be a better actor

So this is what a happy, functional family looks like. Interesting

  • GeneralDisorder

Hmm... first world problems. I didn't know there were high schools you have to apply to.

  • Sarah Lorraine Truitt

pfffft, there's preschools you have to apply to these days

  • Joe Hansbarger

Yeah, and more and more of them are able to siphon off our tax dollars in the form of "school vouchers".

  • CrazyUncleNicola

Plenty of private High schools you have to apply to too.

  • GeneralDisorder

I don't think there was one within 100 miles of where I grew up.

  • CrazyUncleNicola

Probably more common in large cities. Catholic schools being the most prominant were I grew up.

  • PUNX

yes and now there are middles schools too.

  • edzew

yea Magnet middle and high schools you have to apply to but they have been around for years.. at least the past 30 years around here in the DFW area. they are really great schools because the classes are full of kids that actually want to be there and to learn.

  • CrazyUncleNicola

My Highschool had/has a Magnet program. All the schools in the disrict have them. Though they are optional.

  • GeneralDisorder

    Sick!
