Video Of A Logging Truck Driver Skillfully Crossing A Tiny Bridge In France

truck-crossing-bridge.jpg

This is a video of a logging truck driver skillfully crossing a tiny bridge in France with a full load, thanks in no small part to the rear-steer dolly at the back of the truck. I could not have done that. If that had been me driving, that truck would be in that creek right now and I'd be trying to sue the city for making their bridges too small. I'm an opportunist. "You're a dirtbag." I've been called worse. "You're a flaming bag of reeking, worthless demon shit." Okay now you're just trying to hurt my feelings. "Is it working?" God no, you should hear my friends and family.

Keep going for the video while destroy my mailbox trying to back out of the driveway.

Thanks to Clint, who agrees they must have cut out the part when they had to pay the troll to pass.

Meanwhile, I'm over here like: https://i.pinimg.com/origin...

I wonder if that guy could teach my kid to parallel park...

  • Michael Knight

uhm, yeah if one can control both sections of the trucks driving (notice the front two tires of the back end are remote controlled to turn) it doesn't seem that hard to do.

  • Andrew

They may turn on their own when the payload swivel turns a certain amount.

  • Sean Lally

Yeah, I was thinking it might replay a recording of the turn the front wheels make.

  • Deplorable Erik Dee

I'm thinking he has a co pilot steering the remotes. I can't see the driver doing all of it at once.

  • WhiteEagle2

I was thinking that, but that would be very expensive paying two drivers per truck. It's likely just the one driver, but he manages by driving so slow.

How bad do you want some wood?

  • Andrew

As well as the payload swivel, Did the front wheels on the back trailer also have some turning capability? edit: yes they do

  • WhiteEagle2

Yeah, you can best see it around 1:20

  • Bling Nye

Skillful manipulation of wood is always a pleasure to watch.

  • Frédéric Purenne

    That's cheating! I love it...

  • WhiteEagle2

Thats no ordinary trailer! Pretty cool how the rear wheels can swivel independent of the payload.

  • GeneralDisorder

    That's what she said.
