Disney Teams Up With Japanese Wedding Dress Company To Create (You Guessed It) Disney Princess Wedding Dresses

This is the line of Disney princess wedding dresses designed as a collaboration between Disney and Japanese wedding dress company Kuraudia Co. Each of the 14 designs were inspired by six different princess and are available to rent for $3,600. Wait -- $3,600 TO RENT? Now I'll be the first to admit I don't know the first thing about wedding related costs, but that sounds like a lot of money. Presumably because it's a lot of money. And you don't even get to keep it. A matching Prince Charming tux is also available to rent for an additional $900. Admittedly, I'm into the dresses, but a lot of them are really colorful. If I'm getting married in something with that much color you better believe it's going to be a tie-dyed Grateful Dead tour t-shirt.

Keep going for seven more.

  • Pretty.

For less than a grand, you can have a dressmaker make a gown to your specifications. My sister gave her dressmaker a picture of what she wanted, with some changes (shorten sleeves, deeper neckline.) It came to about one quarter of what she would have paid to buy a gown and have it tailored to fit her.

I like the ruffles in Bells dress looks great.

  • Dao

I'd like to see a Stranger Things-themed wedding.

  • Jenness

None of these are worth that rental. I don't see any unicorn tusks, diamonds or the tear\ stains of 100 unwed virgins who were slaughtered after making the dress

  • GeneralDisorder

You know... you just don't see that as much as you used to.

Used to be the elites were pretty open about their disdain for the proletariat and sacrificing a dozen people for amusement was no big deal. But now it's all like "human rights" and "crime against humanity" and such. You just don't see humans hunted for sport or sacrificed for the sake of killing anymore.

I know right?!? What happened to people like Cher - hell what happened to Cher?!? She'd show up at the Oscars wearing something that was pornographic, her ass hanging out and the blood of sacrificial virgins as lipstick. I miss those days.

  • Guesticle

that actually was /not/ my guess

  • Wait, is that second blue one from the top supposed to be from The Princess and the Frog?

    cuz.... racist?

  • Guesticle

    why for to racism?

  • FearlessFarris

Because it's racist to put a white person into a costume made famous by a black person. But if you put a black person into a costume made famous by a white person, its progressive. And because liberals are obsessed with race and immune to logic.

Oh, go be unpleasant elsewhere. This is a nice thread about pretty dresses.

  • comedy of terrors
