Video Camera At Bottom Of Water Bucket Captures All The Animals That Come For A Drink

This is a video created by off-the-grid-liver John Wells of southwest Texas. John placed a video camera at the bottom of a bucket of water to see what kind of animals would come to get a drink -- and boy was he not disappointed. Me? I was only moderately disappointed on account of their being no gryphon or unicorn. I had high hopes.

"I was pleasantly surprised during the edit to see that George [the rabbit] made an appearance. I know him from all the other rabbits because of the tiny notch in his ear." The guy was quick to add: "Note: The swimming bees were rescued."

John Wells, who moved from New York to almost 'the middle of nowhere' to purchase an off-grid lifestyle, is already known in certain ecology-conscious circles for managing to build a modern house with solar energy and composting for just $1600.

Oh man, I bet the prestige of building a modern house with solar energy and composting for only $1,600 probably gets you some pretty serious sexual action in 'certain ecology-conscious circles.' Afterwards, you can both rinse all the sweat off with a bucket of collected rain water and brush your teeth with sticks. It's cool, I'm green too. "You're peeing in water fountain." Mother Nature told me to.

Keep going for the video.

Thanks to Dannieboy, who inspired me to do the same thing in my neighborhood with much more horrifying results (it got treated like a public toilet).

Love how it starts with a few hornets drowning!

This was more enjoyable than some movies I've sat through - and the picture was clearer with a better soundtrack.

Plus - i see this and think "How can some farmer eco dude pull off a video like this and even if I had all the current tech in the world it would still look like grainy 256mb video shot from a 1995 flip phone?"
