The McDonald's Frork, A Fork Made Out Of French Fries

May 2, 2017

To advertise their new Signature Crafted Recipe sandwiches, this is a infomercial style pitch featuring Anthony Sullivan introducing the McDonald's Frork, a piece of molded plastic you jam three french fries into to make a questionable fork. You can check out a list of restaurant locations giving out free Frorks with the purchase of a Signature Crafted Recipe sandwich on May 5th HERE. It doesn't actually seem very practical though. There's no way those fry tines are going to be strong enough to stab anything (you ever accidentally brought a fry to a knife fight? RIP Grimace). I feel like it would be more useful as a brush for glazing your burger/20-piece McNuggets with the sauce of your choosing. You know, because you're actually a really fancy eater and just forget where you were. Which, in this case, is eating in your car in a McDonald's parking lot with a backseat full of crumpled fast food bags. "Are you stalking me?" I'm your guardian angel.

Keep going for the video.

Thanks to Tony, who prefers curly fries.

It's not a fork if it only has three tines, that is a trident.

This is stupid which is exactly why I think it'll be a massive hit with 2-12 yr olds. I agree with GW these will be used to paint with condiments, go up noses and menace younger siblings - and if the burnt until they are cement fries at my McD's are any indication - they will stab each other with them.

  • GeneralDisorder

Ah... brutal stabbings. It's what siblings are for, amirite?

  • Jenness

Yup, and the salt on the fries will make any wounds extra ouchy.
