5.7 Magnitude Earthquake Filmed Underwater

This is a short video of a 5.7 magnitude earthquake captured by diver Jan Paul Rodriguez near Mabini, Batangas in the Philippines. That's not really what I was expecting. Of course, I don't really know what I was expecting because I don't think about underwater earthquakes that often because I'm simple man with simple thoughts. When reached for comment about the incident, Ariel was found dead in her treasure cave, crushed under a pile of gadgets and gizmos.

Keep going for two copies of the video in case the first one doesn't work.

Thanks to bradley w, who agrees the safest place to be in the event of an earthquake is outerspace.

  • Deplorable Erik Dee

Yeah y'all sit there and talk shit until a crack opens and the Kaiju start coming out. Eff that. I'm going back to the boat.

  • Jenness

I wonder how they felt? Could they feel intense vibrations in the water or did it just seem like the ground was moving weird for a bit? I'd be curious about how it felt to them.

  • Meh

Now that's pretty cool. I suppose with a heavier earthquake and a tsunami they would've ended up on top of a building.

  • Poor Ariel. Bitch was just tryin'a get some play. :-(
