Two Dueling Robot Pincers Simultaneously Controlled By Left And Right Side Brain Waves

This is a video demonstration of Split Brain Robotics, a terrifying interactive art project created by artist Kal Spelletich. Apparently one killer robot pincer is controlled by the brain waves of a participant's right side of the brain, and the other the left. Did I mention they also shoot lasers and blow fog? I mean these are killer robots we're talking about, after all. Interestingly enough, when I was connected to the machines they didn't do anything. "Maybe you're brain-dead." One can only hope. Now come closer, I have something I want to tell you. *whispering* Pull my plug.

Keep going for the video, in case you weren't already convinced Kal should be tried for future war crimes against humanity.

Thanks to Damien, who agrees absolutely nothing about this is okay.

I was at a science museum once where they had two "mind readers" that controlled a fan and a sail boat thing in the middle. It was fun to watch older people who could calm down faster win matches against kids who would get excited and lose.

  • How could anyone possibly know if "brain waves" has anything at all to do with this? I mean, he could've just programmed the things to just move around and is claiming they are being controlled by brain waves, right?

I'll bet your right brain told you that.
