The Miracle Of Life: Tadpole Cell Division Timelapse

March 21, 2017

This is a twenty second timelapse video of the cell division of a tadpole egg from the second cleavage onward (filmed over 33 hours, with several days remaining before full tadpole development). I learned a lot by watching it. Mostly, that the miracle of life does, in fact, appear to be rather miraculous and none of us should probably be alive. Except me, I'm the result of the consciousness of an eight year old being implanted into a lab-grown body. I'm kinda like Wolverine in that regard. "That's nothing like Wolverine." Plus when I get angry I break things! "Prove it." *growls like an animal, climbs and jumps off cubicle wall WWF wrestling style, breaks both ankles* Are you happy now? "Wolverine's bones wouldn't have broken." Are you going to drive me to the hospital or not?

Hit the jump for the video.

  • Very interesting article you post in here and i found lot inspiration to read this content in here. It helps me to thinking about the cell division and i think this related video was so nice and clear for learn more information about this. I enjoy the lesson in here.
