Gator With Giant Fish Strutting Across Golf Course

This is a short video of an alligator strutting its ass across a golf course showing off the surprisingly large fish it managed to catch. Admittedly, an impressive catch, but it's really the commentary provided by amateur vertical videographer Norma Respess that takes the cake. In her own words:

That's amazin', I've never seen that before. He's got a fish -- caught a fish and goin' to the other-- look at that. Awww...wow! What a sight. Holdin' on to that fish! Amazing! Woooow. Wow. I don't wanna get near you. I'm glad you got the fish. Amazing.

Oh, Norma. It's like she felt an obligation to provide some sort of running commentary even though it was entirely unnecessary. "Kind of like you're doing now?" No -- exactly like I'm doing now, just nowhere near as good as her.

Keep going for the video while I email Norma and offer her my job.

Thanks to Linc, who agrees an even crazier sight would have been a fish carrying an alligator across the course. I can't wait for that.

Cracks me up how people react to something like this that happens everyday many, many times. What I want to know is, where did the big guy get a fish that size on a golf course? Is that how big they grow in the course ponds and can I go fishing there? Thing was huge!

  • GeneralDisorder

I know small ponds can harbor unusually large fish.

Side note: I don't live in FL or anywhere else where gators live. I've never seen a gator carry its prey IRL. Sure, it happens. And I'm somewhat certain bears shit in the woods. Doesn't mean I've ever seen it happen.

And still there are members of the human race (alleged members anyway) that don't know how to turn their phone sideways to record video...

Humans are fucking stupid, which is why we have directions on shampoo bottles and toothpick wrappers... but industrial designers and software engineers are arguably not so stupid... So what I want to know, is why is there not a default setting on the phone that causes it to film the same whether the phone is held vertically or not, and has to be unselected in order to film vertical video........... I mean, C'MON! We're talking an advance second only to curing cancer here. WHAT'S TAKING SO LONG?!

Correct, never underestimate human stupidity. Honestly, we should remove obvious warning labels...like, do not lean ladder on power lines....thin the herd I say.
