These is the '8 planets of the solar system to scale' set 3-D printed and sold by Etsy seller LittlePlanetFactory. The solar system is available in three different scales (1:1.5 billion, 1:1 billion and 1:0.7 billion) and cost between $200 and $790. Earth in the smallest scale set measures a scant 6.9mm (~0.33 inches) and the largest planet (Jupiter) 93.2mm (~3.67-inches). In the largest scale set the same planets measure 18.2mm (~0.72 inches) and 199mm (~7.83-inches). Mercury is barely the size of a pea in the largest set. I kind of want one, but I know it would just be another thing to roll off my desk and get lost in the mess that is my floor. "It looks like a Chuck-E-Cheese ball pit expect with crumpled fast food wrappers." Do you really think so?! Because that's what I was going for. "I just saw a rat." It's cool, he's well fed, he won't bite.

Keep going for a couple more shots, but if you're interested check out their Etsy store for other planet and moon collections in various scales.

Thanks to Angela, who agrees no Pluto is a deal-breaker.

Back in my day, Pluto was a Planet!

  • Bling Nye

Guess which ones you can lose in your butt!

  • GeneralDisorder

Whose butt? Yours? All of them, right? I mean, Jupiter is a big of an ass-giant but it just takes a little patience.
