Watch A Massive Hawaiian Lava 'Fire Hose' Pouring Straight Into The Pacific Ocean

These are several videos of a gigantic lava 'fire hose' pouring directly into the Pacific Ocean from the Kilauea volcano in Hawaii. Apparently it started flowing after a lava delta collapsed, taking part of the sea cliff with it and exposing a very active lava tube. Now I know what you're thinking, and yes, it does remind you of your ass a couple hours after eating whatever fast food upsets your guts the most. It's so good though, the pain is worth it. The third video even features a couple thrill seekers climbing the hardened lava around the corner from the pouring lava. Are they dead now? Wouldn't surprise me, volcanos are serious business. "Just ask Pompeii." Wow, too soon.

Keep going for the videos.

Thanks to Stephanie B, who dared me to stick my hand in it just for a second. Believe me, if I was there I would.

I don't think there's ever been a firehose with that much power. Pretty awesome though.

those people on the side of those rocks are pretty dumb, I would bet anybody falling in that water within 50 metres of that lava would fry

  • Bling Nye

I took a shit exactly like that once after a night of drinking and poor choices.

  • GeneralDisorder

You're not supposed to put lava in your butt. That cannot be healthy.

That's about the coolest and most frightening thing I've ever seen.
