Smartphone Screen Protector Applying Robot

This is a smartphone screen protector applying robot built by Kawasaki using one of their duAro industrial robots coupled with a Pepper humanoid robot from SoftBank and Aldebaran Robotics. It can apply tempered glass screen protectors perfectly straight and without any bubbles. Me? I actually prefer bubbles, I feel like they give my phone a little extra PERSONALITY. Just kidding, I don't even have a glass protector and my screen looks like a spider web. "You should probably get a case." You should probably GET ME a case. "How do you feel about rhinestones?" They're shiny and make everything better!

Keep going for two videos, the second of which might not work in your country (it didn't work in mine but I live on the moon in a cheese crater).

Thanks to Dougie, who prefers his screen protector applied so crooked it hangs out over the edge of the phone.

I refuse to deal with screen protectors. Maybe if it was like a sapphire replacement glass...

Bubbles were never the issue, it's always the dust that may stick to protector prior to application or remaining on the screen.
