This is a short video of a beautiful rainbow crystal geode recently sold by Etsy shop Far Arden Essentials. I'm not sure if rainbow crystal geode is its technical name or not, but that's what they're calling it. I'm calling it Rainbeau, Goddess Of Sparkles.
Geodes start their lives as bubbles in volcanic rock or as animal burrows, tree roots or mud balls in sedimentary rock. Over millions of years, the outer shell hardens, and water forms on the inner walls. If the liquid contains dissolved minerals, it forms crystals within the cavity.
$10 says it's actually a piece of a petrified unicorn turd. Now I'm not saying I'm an expert or anything, but I did have a rock tumbler when I was a kid. And boy did I tumble my fair share of rocks. And, if we're being completely honest, also a fair share of my sister's Barbie heads.
Keep going for the video.
