Taco Bell Rolling Out A Chalupa With A Shell Made Of Fried Chicken

Taco Bell is rolling out the Naked Chicken Chalupa nationwide on January 26th. The Naked Chicken Chalupa is a chalupa with a shell made out of fried chicken, and nothing but the condiments placed inside. Obviously, I want to smear one all over my face like an unruly child in a highchair.

The shell is the chicken. The chicken is the shell.

Taco Bell says the shell of the Naked Chicken Chalupa is made up of all-white seasoned chicken. The rest of the taco is packed with lettuce, tomatoes, cheddar cheese and avocado ranch sauce.

Innovative (not unlike KFC's Double Down), but you know what the Taco Bell menu is really missing? "Pork options?" No -- an all-you-can-eat option. How great would that be? They do that and bring back Choco Tacos and get a soft-serve machine and that's pretty much my dream world. "That's a weird dream world, GW." Whatever, everybody's different.

Thanks to Dunc and Allyson S, who agrees Taco Bell should also start offering taco shakes.

  • Just the way I like my chicken: Pre-fried, smashed wafer-thin, and molded into a shell. Finally someone heard our collective voice.

  • Big Dog on Krampus

my god, did that smell good
