There Can Be Only One: Little Kid Vs Trash Can

November 14, 2016

little-kid-vs-garbage-can.jpg

This is a video of a kid trying to move his family's trash can (or steal somebody else's) on a particularly windy day. Things do not go well for the little guy. First he gets slammed in the head by the lid several times before the can decides he's had enough and delivers its finishing blow. Which, in this case, appears to be a body slam. Make sure to hug your kids extra tight tonight.

Hit the jump for the video.

Thanks to Ian, who told me his whole family was killed by a recycling bin. That's awful.

Ladies, this is why we hate taking out the trash.

This would be played at every family function for 30 years.

All it needs is Benny Hill music

Maybe when he gets a little older he may think to walk backwards and drag the bin behind him.

I don't think there's any way to make sense of kid logic once you reach adulthood. I have two daughters ages 4 and 9. You'd think after having one bad monster who's about 5 years ahead of the other that you'd have foresight and wisdom. Fuck no. The two behave completely differently. And they lull you into a false sense of "oh, they're behaving". Then they wallop you with the biggest mess you can imagine.

The youngest... holy shit... killed about $500 worth of fish, destroyed things I can't even remember, broke plates and bowls, etc. She's made huge messes out of food and garbage and smashes things because she's angry...

That's like Charlie Brown battling the kite in the tree right there - brave kid

I can help. It's a small child fighting with a trash can in the wind.

Gotta give him credit for not surrendering.
