Great, GW, now I have Tenacious D stuck in my head after seeing "GOVERNMENT SUCKS" in all caps... not that that's a *bad* thing.

Requires the fleeing suspect to play along, apparently.

"You see me coming up behind you super close? You see that thing in front of me lowering down? Whatever you do, don't swerve a single inch or else I'll miss!"

It requires the pursuit vehicle(s) to get close. So does the PIT maneuver. So does basically all other options that police have to stop a vehicle.

"Stop sticks" and tire spikes require a person to get out of their vehicle and set up in front of the pursuit. The stop sticks are bad because you can't deactivate them. Most spike strips have a raise and lower option.

And most people are aware you can drive even when your tires are flat. Handling suffers. Top speed suffers. But you can still move the vehicle.

At 2:15, I almost thought for a second it was going to say, "Also works on pedestrians"... and now I'm just a little bit disappointed it doesn't.

It can throw the bike at the pedestrian as needed, in case another cop is in a foot chase. I wonder why they didn't show that part?

Solid idea, however i doubt whether some coppers won't just start blasting, i mean we all know that's more fun in the end.
