Count Me In: A SpongeBob Themed Pineapple Villa

September 19, 2016

This is the Spongebob Pineapple Villa built by Nickelodeon for their Nick Resort in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. The 1,500 square foot villa is filled with Spongebob and ocean themed decorations, including an entryway that's a replica of Spongebob's pineapple home, complete with a life-size Gary. Unfortunately for SpongeBob fans who aren't also filthy rich, the two-bedroom, three-bath villa rents for $3,800 PER NIGHT. *spit-takes Hi-C* The last time I stayed in an inn I paid two silver coins. That was in 1612. My family and I were fleeing the dragon army on foot and I needed to rest to replenish my mana in case I had to fight. "Because you're a 400-year old wizard." That is correct.

Keep going for several more shots and a video tour.

Thanks to Ashraf, who agrees a pineapple under the sea is nice, but a watermelon is roomier.
