Boomsticks Galore!: Crazy Shotgun Trick Shots

September 7, 2016

shotgun-trick-shots.jpg

This is a video of the guys from Dude Perfect teaming up with the shotgun-loving Gould Brothers to perform a bunch of feats of buckshot magic. Amazingly, nobody was injured or killed in all their trials. I wish I could say the same for the trickshot portion of my 2016 Neighborhood Stunt Spectacular, but apparently it was several performers' first time ever operating firearms. That day three people learned the hard way why you should never lie on your resume.

Keep going for the video, then let's go boomstick a bunch of TPS reports after work today.

Thanks to my dad, who once ate a Trivial Pursuit card for being inaccurate.

  • Low brass huh? That's something I'll have to look into. I feel really proud of myself when I hit both skeet, which is maybe 30% of the time at best.Cnn news

If anyone is wondering how they can fire so rapidly with 12 GA it's because they're using low brass rounds. The recoil from low brass 12 GA is like a .22. Do not try trick shots with high brass hunting rounds.

Almost all target loads are low brass.

From left to right in the linked image: .410 high brass, 20GA low brass, 12GA low brass, 12GA high brass, 12GA full brass.
