Seeing Stars: Glow-In-The-Dark Constellation Dress

This is the Glow-In-The-Dark Constellation Dress available exclusively from ThinkGeek ($50). It's covered with constellations that glow in the dark when the lights are turned off. And you know what time it is when the lights are turned off! "Sexy time." Eww, no -- I was going to say 9PM and time to go to sleep and if my parents hear me get out of bed I'll be in big trouble. Still, I just bought one of these constellation dresses to tack to the ceiling above my bed so I can pretend I'm sleeping outdoors under the stars. I used to have a Cindy Crawford poster up there but my parents made me take it down when my aunt came to stay for a visit and she got my room and I had to sleep on the couch. Now I have chronic back pain.

Keep going for a couple detail shots in case you're wondering if it has pockets or a keyhole back (yes to both!!).

Thanks to Alyssa, who made me promise to buy her one even though she didn't give me her size or address which I'm pretty sure gets me off the hook.

That star map is completely out of scale and incorrect. But, I'd still trace all the constellations...

Glow in the dark stuff never works.

  • Geekologie

It sounds like you've been burned in the past, Ricky.

  • AtomicMountain

Yup. Went to see Rush (who sucks), and got a glow in the dark concert shirt, and it doesn't glow in the dark at all. It's bullshit. You gotta have a special light bulb.

  • Geekologie

    this is an outrage

That's UV-sensitive paint on your shirt, then. Glow-in-the-dark works entirely differently.

  • The_Wretched

The paint isn't sensitive. I yelled at it for hours. It was florescent though.
