I Beg To Differ: Disney-Pixar Films Ranked On Feels

In I completely disagree news, this is an infographic created by the folks at PureCostumes ranking Disney-Pixar films based on the "most feels." That is a horrible quantifier and my marketing research professor would have failed you for designing a survey so bad. What was the total sample size and how homogeneous was the group? Obviously, I have bones to pick with a lot of these, and if those bones happen to be your entire ribcage, well, bloodthirsty hellhounds need to eat too.

We asked our team here at PureCostumes.com to take a short quiz rating each movie from 1-5, with 5 being the most feels. Here are the results. Let us know if you agree or disagree!

Ratings were obtained by calculating the averages of all answers. If an employee hasn't seen a particular movie, they were asked to leave that line blank and it was not taken into account when calculating the averages. Some comments were edited for spelling or grammatical errors.

First of all, this is an outrage. Secondly, Monsters Inc. only got 15th? That movie has one of the most meaningful and heartfelt scenes in any Pixar movie, and I cried so hard I was dehydrated for three days my doctor made me buttchug grape Pedialyte. Which I did, and is now kind of a secret addiction. Up is only 4? How is Finding Dory number 3? I'm so angry I could spit blood. Wait, I AM spitting blood. Why am I spitting blood? "You just....took a bite of me." Oh right, bloodthirsty hellhound. ARH-WOOOOOOOOO!

Thanks to Kelvin, who works at PureCostumes and may have had something to do with the survey. You did a great job, really.

How is Incredibles not on this list? I can't even talk about the part where Bob is captured, and he hears Helen in the plane over the radio saying, "Disengage missiles!" And then he hears, "There are children aboard!" His face... (oh man, here come the tears). No dad can make it through that scene.

  • The Good Dinosaur was some of the hottest garbage I've seen in an animated film recently. It literally played on the most cliche kids movie plot points, so much so it was laughable at times.

  • macman851

Inside Out is literally about feels and how they influence your decisions

and actions towards other people. Why is this not first??

  • Bubbubsky

If I'm around people who actually say "the feels," I kick them as hard as I can in the shins. "Did you 'feels' that, idiot? Did you? FEEL IS A VERB."

  • Pajama Man

"The Good Dinosaur" is definitely top 3 or 4 in the bawling category. I really didn't get all that emotional during "Inside Out."

  • Ollie Williams

I cried like a bitch during a fair bit of Inside Out.

How can someone put Monsters inc. behind Monsters University based on the feels? And Up not being first or at least second is pure blasphemy

  • Superior_Joe

Cars is on this list, so fuck this list in the ass with a splintery broom.

  • moedin1

Lilo and Stitch has all the feels from that mess of a family making it on the big island... that movie was only out done by TS3
but it was not a pixar film.

  • dougfunnay

yeah but arent we worried all these feel are desensitizing the youth?
(seriously though you watch enough of these dumb hamfests you start questioning whether everything is a cheap emotional manipulation)

  • Yeah seriously. They get critics with the sad sappy angle, and then the public goes to see it and decries it amazing because it made them cry emotions despite the studio making an effort to do exactly that.

  • Captain Matticus, LP Inc.

All of the newer movies are higher-ranked (at least the top 5). It'd explain why Monsters University is higher ranked than Monsters, Inc. Also, they forgot the Incredibles.

Did the people from Watchmojo help compile this? They seem to only remember movies made in the past 5 years, too.

  • Livingtool

    Zootopia isn't Pixar... isn't it?

EDIT: title clearly says Disney - Pixar

  • Emmitt Morgans

It sure seems strange that *every* other movie is a Pixar film... and the only Pixar film missing is 'The Incredibles'.

"Disney•Pixar" is used in a number of places to refer to *only* Pixar, but still remind everyone that they're part of the "House of Mouse."

  • Captain Matticus, LP Inc.

It sure isn't. This list is shit.
