The Future (Is Sadly Drone Powered Billboard Blimps)

March 18, 2016

This is a promotional video from Aerotain, a Swiss firm creating drone-powered helium blimps to serve as flying billboards. That is kind of depressing. Not surprising, just depressing. In related news, bb gun sales are through the roof. I never had a bb gun growing up but I bought a really nice one a couple years ago. I never use it. I'm not even sure why I bought it. I think just because I never had one. Same goes for the Power Wheels. I can't even fit in it, but there it is in the dining room just taking up space and reminding me how the kid who lived down the street from me growing up got a new one every year.

Hit the jump for the video.

Thanks to DL, who offered to get 'GEEKOLOGIE' tattooed on his forehead if I'd pay him a thousand dollars, which I regretfully declined because I don't have a thousand dollar.

Perfect way to advertise a future release for Majora's Mask.

Actually I thought it was a cool idea until I saw it in the concert venue. Blocking views much?

Good... I was hoping floating billboards would be ready by November 2019.

Does anyone have the forecast for LA that month, by any chance? I hear it's going to be a good time for tears in rain.

    I understand this reference.

Overcast, with a chance of Japanese women eating candy.
