Aquarium Stingray Gives Successful Birth By C-Section

This is a video from Ripley's Aquarium Of The Smokies about a recent successful stingray c-section birth. The stingray mother was an estimated 6 - 8 weeks late delivering her pup, and staff were concerned both might die without the operation. Now the aquarium is happy to report that both mom and pup are thriving. Me? I am barely alive. Check my pulse. Feel anything? "No." Try my neck. "Still nothing." Now pull me in for a kiss. "What?!" I'LL DIE WITHOUT IT, KISS ME.

Keep going for a short video.

Thanks to Ripley's Aquarium Of The Smokies, who is going to help me fulfill my dream of meeting and befriending a penguin.

It's so cute - but also disturbing that you almost have a better chance of surviving a c-section w/no complications if you are an animal than a human in the US right now. Obamacare really sucks so hard

Omg that little baby sea pancake....

Good thing they chose such an obnoxiously up-beat song. Almost makes you think this isn't disgusting.
