Well, That Was Something: Video All The Words Spoken In Star Wars Sorted Alphabetically

alphabetic-star-wars.jpg

This is a video of all the words spoken in Star Wars sorted alphabetically, complete with all the scenes in which they were spoken and a counter of how many times. As you can see, lightsaber was only said once. Sadly, photon-penis-torpedo was never spoken, although it certainly should have been.

Keep going for the video.

Thanks to Lukas, who, prior to watching this video, was convinced ain't nobody got time for that.

A few days ago I saw this article and I knew what I had to do. There is an acquaintance of mine who is an incredibly obsessive star wars fan, the kind of guy who thinks anyone who isn't as interested in the movies etc as he is, is worthless and deserving of death and prides himself on knowing EVERYTHING. So, when I saw him last weekend I dropped the fact that there are 201 instances of the word "a" in Star Wars... The look he gave me. He then refused to speak to me for the rest of the day. Exactly 5:06 in the am this morning he updates his facebook status with a "random star wars fact of the day!" It made me chuckle.

it makes it worth it to hear how often C3PO is a little bitch... that and hearing ObiWan say "penetration"

Someone had enough free time and patience to make this???

  • baal

Well, they probably indexed the script to time stamps and then ran an auto-splice job based on the word sort.

  • Tyguy

.....still. Was the payout worth it?

  • baal

No, I stopped watching after a few seconds. What's the point? It's not more entertaining than an ant cluster on the side walk.

  • Bill Mead

I agree, plus the quickness of the cuts is really off putting.
