Pew Pew!: Using Google Glass To Shoot Around Corners

June 17, 2014

This is a video demo of TrackingPoint Labs' Shotview App. It utilizes a rifle mounted camera and Google Glass so a user can shoot at things from behind cover/without actually looking at them. I'm going to use it to shoot clay pigeons with a shotgun. Pull! *BLAM BLAM* How'd I do? "You missed completely, I thought you were using the Google Glass app." Sorry, I was watching a p0rno.

Keep going for a brief video demo.

Thanks to Arrogant Tiger, who is so arrogant he claims he can fire a bullet backwards all the way around the world and hit his target from the rear. I kind of believe him.

This has been done before with screens fixed to the stock but it has the problem of still exposing hands and arms to enemy fire, but then came this
It doesn't have nearly as much range though, but the accuracy over a short distance is probably about the same.
My favourite version is the 40mm grenade launcher...

Im glad there is a waiting period for these glasses.

  • This seems like a no brainer, honestly. I'm a pussy so I'd rather not war altogether, but if I had to I'd want to hide while I shoot. This is great for pussies.
