Music Video Shot Frame-By-Frame With Embroidery

embroidered-music-video.jpg

This is the very impressively constructed music video for metal band Throne's song 'Tharsis Sleeps.' The whole thing was shot frame-by-frame using individually embroidered scenes. That...sounds time consuming. Thankfully, they used a computerized embroidery machine instead of a sweatshop full of grandmas like I would have. *throws walker, yells through megaphone* YOU OLD BAGS BETTER MEET YOUR QUOTA OR NOBODY'S GETTING THEIR TEETH BACK.

Keep going for a couple shots of the process and the video.

Thanks to PYY, who agrees the best music video is and always will be A-ha's 'Take On Me.'

Now every imaginable music video has now been done. However! I have one last never seen before idea for a great music video... just wish I knew who to sell it to. Anyone know how to get ahold of U2?

Agreed A-ha has the best one!

The only thing that would make this more metal would be if they sold the frames as back patches, some of those scenes would look TIGHT on the back of a leather

We need another Heavy Metal movie. Weed is legal now here in Colorado. It's time.

I work for an embroidery business and that looked like a tremendous amount of work..each frame of art had to be digitized and ran separately.. original..nicely done
