Dad Builds Power Loader Costume For Him & Daughter

power-loader-father-daughter-costume.jpg

This is a video demo of the Caterpillar P5000 Power Loader costume from the original Aliens movie that father Carsten Riewe built for him and his daughter (previously: this one). It took him 100 hours to complete. That's a lot of time hanging out in the garage. Me? I love hanging out in the garage. It's where I do my best thinking. And by best thinking I mean it's where I smoke weeds after my parents go to bed. "Cannabis?" No, whatever's growing on the other side of the fence in the backyard. I'm cool, guys.

Keep going for the video.

Thanks to DPA, who informed me he plans on building a chestbursting costume for he and his daughter.

same guy, same baby, different robit body, I liked the old one better, this is too good/detailed, the old one was more stylized looking

    Time is linear.

Come on GW, ALIENS not ALIEN. The Sulaco had them not the Nostromo. You just lost a ton of geek cred.
