Sweaty Palms: Two Russian Ninjas Climb To The Top Of The World's Second Tallest Building
This is a video of Russian ninjas Vadim Makhorov and Vitaliy Raskalov climbing the second tallest building in the world, the Shanghai Tower. When completed later this year it will stand 632 metres (2,073 ft) high and have 121 stories. For height reference, that's 118 stories more than my apartment building. At first I thought they were both wearing parachutes, but they turned out to just be backpacks. And backpacks, as I'm sure you're aware, are the worst kind of parachutes. I'd rather take my chances with a fitted bedsheet.
Keep going for the video, particularly insane views from 1:30 - 1:50 and at the end when they're hanging from the crane on top.
Thanks to fat piggie, who was going to climb the tower before they did but was heaving by the fourth story and decided to cancel the climb to go get something to eat.
