Kind Of Want: The Flying Carpet Coffee Table

flying-carpet-coffee-table-1.jpg

This is the Flying Carpet Coffee Table from Duffy London (of this swingset dining table fame). It costs £1,495 (~$2,460, spit-takes blood) and has a base that looks like the carpet's shadow to give it that hovering appearance. Just to be clear though, it doesn't actually hover. But I think we can all agree that, for $2,500, it f***ing should. Plus fetch beers.

Keep going for a couple more shots.

Thanks to TON, who has always dreamed of riding a flying carpet. Me? I've always dreamed of riding Space Mountain with no shirt on.

There are Comments.
  • Although its a fake stuff. I would love this kind of innovative designed furniture for home or offices. The design is looks good and I must say the carpet-concept would surely works as a coffee table.

Total Fake! The shadows are all wrong. This is just like that episode of Never back down where Hurley finds a bunch of food and tries to hide it from Jack.

  • FAKE!!!!

This Daisy comment is a complete photoshop job. You can tell its a fake because the shadow's are all wrong.

This is exactly like that scene in the movie Never Back Down where Baja crashes his motorcycle into a brick wall and Max visits him in the hospital to share with him the true meaning of Christmas.
