The Simpsons' Tribute To The Passing Of Mrs. Krabappel

simpsons-marcia-wallace-tribute.jpg

Marcia Wallace, the voice of Mrs. Krabappel since 1990, passed away late last month at the age of 70. This is The Simpson's tribute to her from Sunday's show. Producers have announced they plan to retire the character after all the episodes Marcia previously recorded voice work for have aired late this season/early next season. Touching, isn't it? Reminds me of the episode of Futurama where Fry's dog Seymour faithfully waits outside Panucci's Pizza for twelve years hoping for Fry to return. Is everyone crying now? Good, it's not so awkward if everybody's doing it. Rest in peace, Mrs. Krabappel.

Thanks to GR, Lisa (but probably not that Lisa) and Cameron, who where all teacher's pets and always chosen to go knock the chalk erasers out on the side of the building. Lucky!

I have watched EVERY episode of Futurama multiple times except for that one about Fry's dog. It broke my heart the first time I saw it and I just cannot watch it again.

Sorry to hear about Mrs. Krabappel. :(
