Geekologie I Watch Stuff The Superficial

The New World's Strongest Beer (Is 67.5% Alcohol)

new-worlds-strongest-beer.jpg

This is Snake Venom from Brewmeister. It's a 67.5% alcohol beer. It also costs £50 (~$80) for a 9-ounce bottle, so it's probably not the most cost effective choice for getting drunk. Which is why I'm gonna stick to drinking hand sanitizer and mouthwash. Please nobody actually drink hand sanitizer or mouthwash. I wouldn't be able to live with myself knowing there are Geekologie readers out there so stupid.

This unique beer is made with a plethora of malts including peat smoked malt, acid malt and chocolate malt. It is fermented using two types of yeast - ale yeast and champagne yeast in order to deliver a higher alcohol content. It is then painstakingly freeze concentrated.

Tasting notes: Dark brown in colour with a nose of alcohol, whisky and hops.

There's a warning on the bottle that says you shouldn't drink anymore than 35ml (~1 ounce) in a sitting, which seems like a little overkill. I guess they just have to say that to cover their own ass. To cover my ass? Right now it's a dirty bath towel but I may slip into some sweatpants or athletic shorts later. "You're disgusting." I'm the monster that monsters are afraid of.

Thanks to TBTMH, who agrees there's no purpose for a 67.5% alcohol beer when liquor already exists. Cheers to that.

Everclear and your choice of beer will not only be cheaper, it will probably taste a lot better. Hell, in a dark beer, you probably won't even be able to tell a difference.

All the label should say is "Man Beer"

    Freeze distillation doesn't count, dammit

I'm sure by putting the 'don't drink more than 35ml' they're just covering their asses. Like putting 'not for consumption' warnings on bath salt packages.

So the beer costs more than any spirits and you shouldn't be drinking more than an once per sitting? And the first thing they say for the taste is that is smells of alcohol more than anything else...

I'll stick with my regular beer thanks.

If the product fails they can always repackage it as beer flavored rubbing alcohol.
