Good Lookin': Stylized Pokemon Red And Blue Posters

pokemon-posters-1.jpg

This is a small series (there are two) of Pokemon Red and Blue posters designed by artist and illustrator Marinko Milosevski (of these amazing Zelda, Metroid, Metal Gear Solid, ICO and Shadow of the Colossus posters fame). If you want you can buy prints of any of the posters here in Marinko's shop. Or you can do what I did and just blow these pictures up real big, print them out, and hang them far enough away so they still look good. I used to do the same thing with Cindy Crawford pictures back during the dawn of the internet. Plus Microsoft Paint bigger nipples on her.

Hit the jump for closeups of each side of the poster, as well as the other one and a BONUS Star Fox one.

Thanks Marinko, now how about sending the dear old Geekologie Writer a set of all the Zelda ones, the ICO one and the Shadow of the Colossus one?

There are Comments.

Yeah, the Star Fox poster blows them all away.

I need that Star Fox poster.

I wish the protagonist Red was present somewhere. Makes me kinda wonder why Giovanni is the main focus. The poster was beyond cool nonetheless though.

  • OrehRatiug

Maybe it has to do with player representation, the less you see of the protagonist the more you can put yourself in the role seeing as how it is supposed to be 'your' adventure. Or something equally silly.

  • Jeff

Nah, that's a pretty good explanation.
