Seven Generations Of Porsche 911 'Sing' Happy Birthday To Celebrate The Model's 50th Anniversary

porsches-perform-happy-birthday-song.jpg

This is a video from Porsche of seven 911's 'singing' Happy Birthday to celebrate 50 years of the model's existence. Skip to 0:55 if you just want to see the singing, because the first part is introducing all the models and the individual note each will be playing. It's, uh, not the best version of Happy Birthday I've ever heard, but they are just cars revving their engines, so you have to take that into consideration. Still, a chick jumping out of a cake at the end would have been nice. Or a dude, I just want cake.

Continue for the video.

Thanks to my buddy Ferrous, who's saving up for a Maserati. Heck yeah, I'll ride in the trunk.

One of the most poorly veiled attempts at passing off sampling as actual raw audio I've ever heard.

Or maybe I'm just entirely too cynical.

Also, two things: (1) AT&T gets flak for exploiting 9/11, but Porsche gets off scot-free (?) and (2) do the British call it the "Porsche 999?"
